We got up at 7...didn't sleep very well last night...but...though I thought I would be tired driving, it didn't turn out that way, felt pretty good the whole day.
We took our time getting going so really didn't get on the road until 9. We made a few more stops than usual so it seemed like a longer day. As we were
driving down Hwy 81, suddenly the wheel took a turn of its own and forced us into the parking lot of the Kickapoo Casino. It is in the middle of nowhere but it is actually very nice. Katie made some $$ there last year, and this year was no exception $42.00. We only stayed for about 45 minutes, so it was fun.
Lots of traffic today...and we managed to hit Oklahoma City during rush hour at 5PM. Slow going for awhile but I was patient so it was really no big deal.
Because of our stops we didn't get to the Best Western Premier in Denton until about 8PM. This is our absolute favorite hotel, rooms are huge and modern and the price is good at Gov't rate. We told friends from the park last year and they liked it too.
We went for supper...then back for a relaxing time before bed.
Plan to get up at 6 tomorrow and then on the road again. Should be at our place sometime between 4 and 6. Then it will be shopping time for groceries.
