Sunday we had to go and get some things we needed for the trailer, and to browse around a couple of our favorite stores. Last year we found a great T shirt at Ross dress for less, which my son just loves because it is light and well vented and he uses it for running. We had to see if we could get him another one and instead we found three different designs but accomplish the same thing or more and the most expensive one was $13...great deal. Katie needed a new pot for the stove and also found a great deal there.
Turns out we really shouldn't be doing much shopping on Sunday..which is something we forgot about...because the stores are mostly packed. They are packed because a lot of Mexicans come across the border from the border towns to do shopping and go to restaurants. It is just the influx of thousands more people that make it not a good day to go shopping when one can easily go during the week.
So we are off today to finish our grocery shopping, get the car washed as one of the Mexican hand wash places where they do a great job, and pick up some flowers for the front of the trailer and some other items which are on our list.
It's another beautiful day here with a forecast high of 78 and according to the forecast it will stay like this all week. Katie and I obviously left the bad weather behind and brought good weather with us.
