Down to 30 Days

Only 30 days to go now...very much looking forward to it, although the weather here is not making it so mandatory to get the heck out.

Some people at Katies's office and also a lady in our building have given us a lot of clothes for the Mexican kids. All I know is the big garbage bag was almost full and very heavy. My sister in law also gave us a whole bunch of stuff the kids will enjoy. Here is a picture of some of the clothes.....

Won't be long now

We are looking forward to getting on the road. Even though the weather here in Winnipeg has been great so far....considering that it is the middle of winter…the thought of getting to our place in Texas where the sun is warm, and the friends plentiful is very appealing. We are also anxious to get to Mexico to see our precious little Vicky and her family.

Can hardly wait to see Vicky and her family in Mexico...

This year we have lined up three additional sponsors for three children who need to go to school.
This is Kerilly...her family had to move to Neuvo Progresso area from another part of Mexico because the violence from the drug Cartels was just too bad. She had been on the waiting list for a sponsor for quite some time, but now she is sponsored by a lady that Katie works with. Awesome!

This is Omar who lives across the street from our Vicky and will be starting school soon now that he has a sponsor.

We will get pictures of two more when we get to Mexico, one will be of Michelle who my brother and sister-in-law are sponsoring, and another little girl who is being sponsored by another lady who works with Katie, but we don't know the little one's name at the moment.
